I must admit it's a little strange to go to the pool in 100 degree heat, and yet be packing my winter clothes for a hike {weather permitting at this point}.
Either way, I have a whole week off. I guess I can live with that.
And no, those are not my hiking shoes. I can very clearly see that they were made for water-related activities. No need to worry!
bad. day. running:: attempted 30 minutes and unknowingly threw a hill in the mix. watch:: battery running low. dinner:: ate it right before my "run". result:: a side stitch, nausea, and only 20 minutes of "running".
pitiful.
tomorrow:: the treadmill. inclined.

1. That darn Michael Buble song, "I Just Haven't Met You Yet". Sorry, but Frank Sinatra was an original, Buble is just impersonating him {which I can't stand}. Yet, I love this song...so sad.
2. Eating breakfast for dinner. I used to even hate the smell of syrup when others would do this.
3. Vintage shopping {Favorite new little nook seen below}. Now I have even more reasons/bad excuses to {you guessed it!} SHOP! Dang it.
4. The fact that I'm about to DUMP this book that I've "attempted" to read for more familiar summer reads {Mrs. Dessen, your books are looking awfully tempting right now...}.
5. Switching from Starbucks Frappucinos {you know, the $5 ones?!} to chai tea before work. Still equally delectable. Maybe now I can give up the Poptarts too? Hmmm...
27. raising all boys... cats that is. married + full of wanderlust.
standing true to naivety with my own two feet on the ground. never acting completely like a grown up.
i can't resist paper lanterns, oversized sweaters, all things that sparkle + shine, whimsical photography, or the summer-y smell of honeysuckle.
i honestly love you for reading my blog.
how sweet are you?!
