just a minute/ {the sorry excuse edition}

hello my dear followers + friends,

didn't want you lovelies to think i abandoned you.

can't promise i will be writing too much this month,

but it's a bloggy break well deserved + needed.

so i'll keep it simple for ya::

just got hitched. {!!!}

am now exhausted from all the stress.

spent four wonderful days on the plaza in kc with my husband.

spent the last two days flying/traveling.

am now sitting in a chair with the island breeze of belize blowing through the window.

life is good.

God is great.

& i am so incredibly blessed.

sorry for my blogging absence!

it's pathetic...

& been a busy weekend full of wedding events!

anyways, soon {i promise} i will be updating y'all on a big decision i need to make in accordance with my social life. no, it has nothing to do with my fiance and/or marriage.

just to forewarn you:: it will probably be a rather long blog post.

one that i hate to do, but needs to be done.

a decision that will {in turn} be freeing.

one month + a few hours away

i can hardly believe it! may 30th i was writing on britton's wall saying, "just 2 months!". & i know these next few weeks will just fly by. i just pray that i will get in the right mindset so i can enjoy it, rather than stress about it.

because i know it will all come together.

& it will be lovely.

registering at REI was officially the best idea ever {hint, hint}.

so many fun bits + bobbins that i would have never even thought existed!

:: my fiance sees my wedding shoes + says, "so these are the shoes your going to be in when your first called my wife?". & my face hurts from smiling.

:: "my best friend's wedding" still makes me cry. happy + sad tears.

:: i hear that taylor swift will be in a movie with zac efron.

:: i find new pretty neighborhoods + outdoor garden stores.

:: listening to the pocahontas soundtrack gives me a feeling of reckless abandon. disney music never goes out of style. neither does innocence.

:: jesus gives my sister more than a body that can put up quite a fight, but a strong heart.

#1 got my passport in the mail yesterday! what a HUGE relief.

#2 found a barn/venue for the wedding. as my mom said, "it's a God thing."

#3 applied for 3 job positions today {one of which is in the nursery! eek! how awesome would that be?!}

although it makes the time go by so much faster to work,

truly blissful moments are found {during a day off} in::

#1 waking up late

#2 no shower + sweatpants

#3 chick fil a {breakfast}

#4 etsy hunting for miscellaneous wedding items. so fun!
